Laura Pandolfo is a researcher in Computer Science at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sassari. She obtained her PhD in Digital Humanities - Digital Technologies and Human Sciences at the University of Genoa, presenting a thesis entitled “Semantic Web Technologies for Digital Historical Archives”.
Her main research focus lies in the application of Knowledge Representation techniques in the humanities, particularly in the field of formal languages and ontology-based modeling within applications utilizing semantic technologies and Linked Data.
Since 2017, she has been involved in various research projects funded by regional, national, and European grants. She has served on the organizing committees of national and international scientific conferences and regularly participates in program committees and peer review activities for scientific articles proposed for publication in journals, conferences, and international workshops.
